Tai Ping collaborates with Elena Salmistraro for her Milan exhibition
Tai Ping is partnering once again with Italian designer Elena Salmistraro in her creation of a unique rug : "Horror Vacui".
"Horror Vacui", the only textile work in the exhibition, is an ironic and powerful representation of Elena Salmistraro's imagination, populated by extravagant and monstrous beings who mix animal and human features and fill every space of the rug with their colourful and graphic energy.
A large-scale rug (230x323 cm), a unique work of art, "Horror Vacui" will be part of the artist's solo exhibition "Alchimie nel Vuoto" at the Galleria Colombo in Milan from 28 November 2024 to 8 February 2025, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico.
The final piece is to be discovered from 28 November in Milan!
