The eight couture offerings in the Biophilic Collection are named after essential oil plants with designs that were extracted from nature. Taking inspiration from the natural Japanese tie dye technique of Shibori, these compositions create an impression of ink.
One of the most figurative designs in the collection, Neroli embodies complex simplicity, like the film negative of a vegetal form. The background features a painterly gradient, a specialty of Tai Ping artisans, rendered for this collection by mixing crude Berber wool from various shades of sheep.
