About the Collaborator

Andrew Winch is an English designer based in London. His love of yachts was ignited in childhood during long summers spent sailing with his father, and it persisted through adulthood, eventually influencing his entire life’s work.

In 1986 he and his wife Jane established Winch Design. In the decades since, the business has grown to include a project portfolio spanning air, land and sea.

The studio has collaborated with Tai Ping on numerous prestigious projects, and in 2019 they created an exclusive rug for the House of Tai Ping’s exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show.
